Old Crow Medicine Show have released their sixth album, 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde.

The new album by the country music roots band is a special recording of Bob Dylan’s iconic release. 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde is a 14-track compilation that was recorded live in Nashville, Tennessee just as Dylan’s version was in 1966.

Old Crow Medicine Show consists of Grand Ole Opry members Ketch Secor, Morgan Jahnig, Chance McCoy, Cory Younts, Kevin Hayes, and Critter Fuqua.

Secor idolizes Dylan, and that’s evident throughout our exclusive interview—watch as he reveals his favorite recording on the album, what the record represents, and more.

Who learned the most from Dylan’s presence in Nashville? The one and only Johnny Cash recognized Bob Dylan’s talent through songwriting and made sure to showcase it in country music however he could. More on that below!

The Old Crow Medicine Show Performing Blonde on Blonde tour kicks off in May.
